Description:

The year 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of the original release of the iconic Hornet off-road buggy! To celebrate the milestone, Tamiya’s designers have cooked up a fun variant that is sure to please new hobbyists and veteran hobbyists alike!

This RC model assembly kit is an updated version of The Hornet, the original of which was first released in 1984. Length: 430mm, width: 230mm, height: 135mm. The kit largely keeps the original Hornet’s bathtub frame and pairs it with 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension and oil dampers. It also has a sealed rear gearbox for excellent off-road dust proofing with a built-in 3-bevel differential gear for smooth cornering. Three-piece assembly wheels are paired with front ribbed and rear high-grip spike tires. Decorate the lightweight and durable polycarbonate body with the included stickers that cover the orange and yellow color scheme, logos and car numbers.
